Richard Price, former president of the Sackett Family Association has died.
Richard joined the Association in 2013, was elected to the Association committee the following year, and served as president from 2018 to 2020. He was extremely proud of his Sackett heritage and became a member of the Sons of the American Revolution in recognition of his descent from Buell Sackett who served in the 5th Connecticut Continental Regiment. He also joined the Winthrop Society in affirmation of his descent from Simon Sackett the colonist.
Richard was born in Detroit, the son of Richard Przybylski and Maree Dally. He died in Oklahoma City on 25 August 2021 while travelling from his home at Lake Arrowhead, California, to Michigan to attend his father’s funeral.
